About CAGE KINGS

Meet Sutton Whiting and Nick Burdi. Sutton and Nick, founders of CAGE KINGS, launched their new company summer of 2016. Throughout Whiting's career he was drafted twice. First out of high school in 2011 by the Atlanta Braves and then again in 2015 by the Chicago Cubs. Whiting has competed in every level of minor league ball, starting with rookie ball and finishing in AAA. In 2015 Whiting was 1st Team all ACC shortstop his senior year and was nominated to Brooks Wallace award for the nations top shortstop. Whiting also earned All Big East honors and numerous Regional tournament teams throughout his four years at Louisville. Whiting and Burdi played in back to back College World Series in 2013 and 2014 season's with UofL. Nick Burdi was a High School All-American in 2011 and as a High School senior a 24th round pick to the Minnesota Twins. After deciding to attend college at the University of Louisville in 2012 he went on to become a 2X 1st team All-Conference and All-American player. After his Junior year he became the winner of the Stopper of the Year award which belongs to the top college relief pitcher in the NCAA. Nick then went on to be drafted by the Minnesota Twins again in the 2014 draft, this time in the 2nd round. Through his first two seasons Nick has won three different team championships (Advanced A, Double A, and the Arizona Fall League). Nick is still chasing his dream of pitching in the Major Leagues.
